Our Thoughts and Prayers.

This morning we awoke to the truly terrible and horrific news of the attack in Orlando that took the lives of 50 innocent people. Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers are with the families and friends of the victims and with the greater Orlando community as they try to grapple with their losses. SEA-PAH is in shock…we are in mourning, but we stand strong with our global Packmates.

While we all are feeling a sense of sadness and loss, this is a time of unity. Take this opportunity to reach out to each other and protect this community that we love.As we enter Pride week here in Seattle, we will be vigilant in the awareness of our surroundings and extra caring for our community.

Attention Pups and Handlers!

Now that the weather is starting to shape up, for our next Walkies we’re getting out of the city and into the woods. Join us on Saturday April 16th for a beautiful hike at Mt. Si! We will be meeting at Dog House Leathers, and leaving for the hike at 12:30pm. People will most likely need to carpool, so if you have a car and have extra seating space that would be very helpful. So far we have at least one car that can fit three extra people.

The trail will most likely be muddy at times, so be sure to wear the proper foot wear. Washington weather can be unpredictable, so bring a jacket just in case. Hoods are encouraged! However, be mindful of that weather. We don’t want anyone’s hoods to get damaged by the rail or terrain. The forecast has been getting nicer, but if it calls for a day of rain we will stay at Dog House for board games and/or movies, whichever the attending membership chooses at that time.

Be prepared! Staying hydrated and healthy is important. Remember to bring water and snacks. Although this shouldn’t be a long or challenging hike, it would be wise to have a good lunch before hand. We will have a first aid kit on hand as well.

If you have any questions or concerns the best way to get in immediate contact with me (Spike) is through Facebook, my cell, or telegram. More info on the hike and tails can be found below.

Thanks and awrrooo!
