Elections and our Annual General Meeting

SEA-PAHs elections are now live! If you’re a dues paying member you will have received a ballot earlier today from election buddy, allowing you to decide who will be on 2023s Board and who our beneficiary will be. Voting will run from December 1st until our Annual General Meeting (AGM) January 14th at 5pm at All Pilgrims Christian Church. At our AGM we will be announcing the results of the election and discussing how we’ll proceed into 2023.

Last month our treasurer Rosco handed in their resignation from the Board. The board wants to thank Rosco for all of their hard work and dedication for performing a vital role in our group. After a quick executive session Flash has agreed to assume the role of treasurer. With the upcoming holiday season and the AGM shortly after, the board has decided to leave that spot vacant unless otherwise needed until the AGM and election ends.

Associate Member Fees

As of January 1, 2023, new associate members will be charged a one time fee of $10, covering the duration of their associate membership.

This should have had no effect on current associate members, but anyone signing up going forward will be subject to the new cost. Why the change? This year, with overwhelming support, our membership changed our bylaws to grant associate members a larger voice in the club - the ability to vote themselves.

For all of SEA-PAH history until now, associate members couldn’t vote and had a hard time participating at events, which are traditionally held at 21+ venues. With the bylaw change we passed the first hurdle, and it’s time to tackle the second. To do that, we need money to afford 18+ venues. A $10 fee covers the cost of your membership tag. It’s small, but it’s a start to keeping costs under control for the club and being able to afford more flexible events.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach us at board@seapah.org. This club is for all of our members, and now our associate’s voices are louder than ever. Let us hear from you.

Puppy Love by our friends at FetchNW

Join FetchNW at the Georgetown Ballroom February 25th 8pm for the prom night of your dreams. If you're anything like us, prom wasn't exactly...tailored towards you, so we are throwing you a prom night at the Georgetown Ballroom with its massive 550 person capacity and TWO Theaters. Come as you are, or dress up fancy for the prom. Dresses, tuxes and tails are certainly welcome but not at all required, and we're going to have the venue decked out with prom decorations to make this a FetchNW event unlike anything you've seen yet.

Tickets and more details are available at https://fetchnw.com/tickets

UNLEASHED!

It's time for the pack to be Unleashed! at SEA-PAHs annual kink tasting and play party! Hosted at Gallery Errato you can join our talented instructors as they give you a taste of exactly what you want - and maybe a bit of what you need.

The first floor will be dedicated to demos (listed below) and social. Play is allowed but will be limited on this floor. The lower floor will have the mosh mats out and ready to be dirtied, and will be the designated play space for the event. Gallery Erato is a well equipped play space with their own furniture onsite, and we plan to make good use of it.

Tickets go on sale January 15 and will be $15 for members, $25 for non-members. Tickets will be $5 more if purchased at the door.

Instructors:

Daddy Paul - Electro

Baus Yukon - Cock and Ball Torture (CBT)

Pack Canis - Impact

Shibari Shawn - Bondage

If you’re interested in volunteering for the event email us at volunteer@seapah.org. Shifts will be 7p-10p, 10p-1p.

Camp K9

ELKAMP - Mineral, WA

At the Best in Show Event this past month, the Board of Directors announced the RETURN of SEA-PAH’s most popular and dearly missed events: CAMP K9! We have secured a new venue at Elkamp, a private campground that granted us the use of their entire space with plenty of room to host the pup community! We are calling for volunteers, event planners, and folks who want to attend! Come join us and help make this event the best it can be!

We are also very excited to bring back the yearly raffle at Camp K9. We want to hear from you about what sponsors you would like to see at Camp. Maybe you do some craft project or know someone else who does projects that would like to donate a few items to the raffle. We are looking forward to hearing from you. If you have suggestions, please email sponsors@seapah.org

This month, we started the Camp K9 Planning Telegram Committee and Chat.  If you have an interest in joining the committee as we plan this amazing event,    please click the link below!

The chat will be used to coordinate our meeting times, have open and organic discussion, idea generation, and much more!
