December has 31 days, 14 Religious Holidays, and countless reasons to come together.   We have some awesome new events,  a return of the White Elephant gift exchange,  and we begin voting on the 2022 SEA-PAH Board.

SEA-PAH Election Update

Election Commmittee will be meeting to begin processing the nominations.  If nominated,  expect an email December 2nd. 

Election Dates:

• December 2nd- December 14th - Those nominated will be asked if they'd accept an nomination.
• December 17th - Election Ballots sent out.
• January 15th - Annual General Meeting of SEA-PAH

Take this opportunity to join your Board of Directors for the monthly SEA-PAH Board Meeting and take an active role in your community. This is, hands down, the BEST way to know what is currently happening in the SEA-PAH community and to offer your ideas and input for future plans and events! SEA-PAH Howliday Party

Sunday, December 12^th, 2021 - 2PM-4PM PST

It’s the end of another year together and we have much to celebrate. Thanks to its generous members, we can once again gather for our annual howliday party. Come spend a couple hours with your friends and chosen family with treats to nibble on, a no-host bar, music and oh yes… did we mention it’s an 18+ event!  BARK so much excite!

Ready to swap silly gifts??? Yep, back for another year it’s our White Elephant Exchange! (All the Rules here)

We’ll also be having a winter raffle with items from Dog House, Scrap Yard, NW-PAH, SEA-PAH and SEA-PAH members!

Some items include: Neoprene Hood, Gift Cards, Leather Apparel, T-shirts, Drinking Glasses and More! Tickets will be $1 each.

Cash and Card will be accepted (card purchases must be a minimum of $5)

Important Details:

• Event will be 18 years+
• Alcohol will be served at the event by the venue via a no host bar. Please remember to tip your tenders.
• The main level to the venue is ADA accessible however some areas are only accessible by stairs. All of the main events will take place on the main level.
• Due to rental agreement, the venue has a limit of 90 people and we will need to monitor group size.

Member Created Event: PokéPups in the Park

Saturday, December 4th, 2021 - 12PM PST

Volunteer Park

Calling all PokéPups! Tired of playing Pokémon go alone on short walks to the bus stop? Want to hang out with others in a covid safe setting? Want to show off your shiny Growlithe, Shadow Snubbul, or perfect IV Riolu? Let’s get together and have a pup Pokémon go outing!

Join other pups for raid battles, taking over gyms, and catching Pokémon!

You do not need to play Pokémon Go to join us. There will be folks willing to give pointers and advise on how to play. Extra battery packs are a good idea to bring. Event is 18+. Please bring a face mask just in case. Pup gear is not required since this is a very public setting.

Time to get creative! Join us to start coming up with ideas on how we can raise money for the org and our beneficiary. We are looking for event (online and in person), Merchandise and sponsorship creative thinking. Please join us to help shape the future

Policies and Procedures Committee

There were a great many advisory votes made during the AGM in January and with the results in mind, the Board will be working on updating the policies and procedures of SEA-PAH. This will include proposing updates to the bylaws, codifying the standing rules, and other tasks related to the day to day operations of the organization. Why should you care, you're asking?  Because:

WE WANT YOU!  That's right!  We want members of the organization to come together with us and advise, help draft, and fine tune the language that will be submitted to the community for updates to our systems.  If you're interested in joining this committee, we ask that you email: bylaws@seapah.com and we will be in touch to schedule.  The first meeting of the Policies and Procedures Committee will take place in March, keep your ears perked in next month's HOWL for dates!
