Events

Monthly Social & Mosh | March 8th & 9th

Our monthly social will be held at CC’s Seattle from 6-10 PM on Fri March 8th as usual, and starting this month our mosh will be extended to be from 2-5 PM, giving us an opportunity to present special activities and longer play time!

This month, Nova and Aesop will be teaching Puppy 101 from 2-3pm with our regular open mosh following from 3 to 5. It’s a perfect opportunity to learn about pup play whether you’re just getting your paws wet in the community or just want a refresher on the basics!

Dungeons & Doggies | March 16th

The Tabletop RPG Night, Dungeons & Doggies, is here to stay as a monthly event! Have you ever seen games like Dungeons & Dragons and wanted to play, but been too intimidated to learn or struggled to find a group? Well on Saturday, March 16th at 2:30pm meet up with Asher & other folks at Phoenix Comics and Games to be walked through creating a character for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition or Pathfinder 2nd Edition, & then learn to play that character & the game in a short single session adventure!

The first hour of this event is dedicated to character creation, so if you have already made a character come by around 3:30-4pm to hop into a one-shot, or come by at 2:30pm to help people make characters or play short board games while you wait! Interested in being a GM? Send a message on Telegram to @AsherThePup & he can answer any questions or concerns and provide resources for the task.

Cherry Blossom Walkies | March 17th

Come for walkies with SEA-PAH and see the cherry blossoms bloom! We will be meeting at the quad at UW starting at 12pm. Telegram message the Emerald City Barkroom or @PupOshawott day of to coordinate where to meet.

18+ Munch | March 23rd

Join us at Distant Worlds Coffee House from 4-6 PM March 23rd for our first ever 18+ munch!

"A munch is a casual social gathering for people involved in or interested in BDSM, kink, or fetishes. No BDSM, kink, or fetish activities take place, however." - Urban Dictionary

To clarify, this event is NOT a mosh. It is going to be hosted at a local queer owned coffee shop, Distant Worlds in Roosevelt (<5 minute walk from the light rail!). This is a sober event with no alcohol served at the establishment.

We will be in the bakery side of the coffee shop, separate from the main area. Note that the venue may have under 18 patrons and clothes must remain on! Gear worn over clothes is allowed including pup hoods. But again, please be mindful of other patrons who may not be in the community.

We want to make this a bimonthly event but we need your support in attendance! Please come by and grab a coffee or other sweet treat if you'd love to see this event come back!

Unleashed! | March 30th

Tickets are already half-way sold out for Unleashed!
Join us at Gallery Errato on March 30th for a night of naughty fun and new experiences! We’ll have a variety of instructors ready to give you a taste of something new or perhaps something you’ve always wanted to try. There will also be a dedicated play space with mosh mats and a variety of furniture ready for puppies to enjoy themselves on. Tickets are selling fast so see the link below to get yours ASAP and stay tuned to our socials for a preview of what our instructors have in store for you!

Birthdays

This just in: SEA-PAH's birthday is coming up! And guess what, so is yours! That's right, Birthday HOWLs are coming back! For those who are unaware, SEA-PAH had previously announced the birthdays (not day, just month) of our SEA-PAH members in our monthly HOWLs. However, these announcements disappeared in 2022 as we were switching software for membership upkeep. Now that we've found a way to smoothly reintegrate birthdays into the HOWL, what better time than SEA-PAH’s birthday month (April) to bring them back!

As a reminder, all members are required to have their birthday on file to verify membership (18+ for associate members and 21+ for general members.) You can verify that your birthday on file is correct by logging into seapah.org and clicking "Contact Profile" in the top right corner. If you are not wanting to have your birthday in the HOWL, scroll down to the bottom of the contact profile and hit "Birthday HOWL OPT OUT". Again, your birthdate is required but your participation in the monthly HOWL is not. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please email board@seapah.org.

Calls for Volunteers

We’re looking for volunteers for the following events:

March 23	CC’s	Furry Night Coat check. 4 - 5 volunteers. Shifts are from 8:00 -11:00 pm, 9:30 pm - 12:30 am, and 11:00 pm - 2:00 am.
March 23	Washington State Leather Organization’s contest	Volunteers to assist with security.
March 30	Unleashed	10 volunteers to help during the event with check in, coat check, security, and the snack table. Shifts are from 5:30-9:00 pm and 8:00 -11:00 pm/midnight, with some slight variations depending on the position.
April 25 - 27	Seattle Erotic Arts Festival	See the above graphic for more details.

Scholarship Fund

As a reminder, the scholarship fund is now able to support with payment for membership dues as of this year's AGM. The scholarship fund can also be utilized to assist in payment for Unleashed or other SEA-PAH events. The scholarship fund is used on an as-needed basis, typically when someone volunteers on behalf of SEA-PAH. We have plenty of volunteer opportunities coming up, so now is the perfect time to support SEA-PAH so that we can support you! See link for more details:
